Poor Neglected Baby II

So I kept up with my weekly reports so well while we were awaiting Mary Harper's arrival...but it's been a while since I've posted an update about precious Baby Brown II!  It's so easy to be totally consumed when awaiting your first baby...but now I have Mary Harper taking up lots of my time, energy and thoughts.  So it's tough to stay on top things like I did the first go round.

In a way, it's kinda nice because I will be at 15 weeks this week and even though I was not feeling 100% the entire first trimester, it seems to have gone by a lot faster this time.  Probably because I'm not able to obsess about it like I did with Mary Harper.  :)  I am a bit afraid once I get "very" pregnant, it will be a lot harder this time because not only will I have to lug my big butt around but I'll be lugging Mary Harper around too!  I do think the transition may be easier on MH since she will still be so young when Baby Brown II arrives...at least that's what I'm hoping!

We will soon find out the gender...and I CAN. NOT. WAIT!  I really have no preference at all one way or another other than healthy...although I do think having two little girls close in age would be so sweet!  Plus, I think it would save us a lot of money since we have so much girl stuff!  (although Josh says it will only save us money in the short run...I bet he's already thinking about having to pay for 2 weddings if it is another little girl)!  But if it is a little boy, I am sure it will be fun getting to buy blue this time! And it may be easier to do a nursery for a boy since I just finished one for a girl!

So here's some info about Baby II (better late than never)!

Our growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces...the size of an orange.  My baby's ears have migrated to the sides of its head and their eyes are moving to the front of the face. They can now wiggle their fingers and toes and is making breathing movements in preparation for life outside the womb.

There you go Baby II!  Hopefully I will do a better job about updating about you in the future!

Franklin Theatre

We had such a fun time getting a behind the scenes look at the Franklin Theatre which has its grand opening this weekend.  I'm so glad we brought Mary Harper to the reception because they are opening a time capsule in 75 years and I think it will be so neat if she can be at there one day to see her name as an attendee!

I am so excited about the opening - downtown Franklin is just such a unique place.  The theatre will play movies of course ($5 at first and they hope to keep offering them for just $5)!  And they will also have plays such as Guys and Dolls and musical events.  Already confirmed to play the "Little Ryman" is Vince Gill, Michael McDonald, Alison Krause, Michael W. Smith and the Judds!

Here are some pictures of us exploring the beautiful new theatre!
